House of the Four Winds - Bank of Valletta Chairman's Office, Valletta

Originally a military barrack, the House of Four Winds perched on St. Michael’s Bastion, in Valletta has undergone yet another metamorphosis in the course of its two hundred year history. After careful historical analysis, architects Demicoli & Associates, on behalf of their clients, acquired approval for a completely new design which respectfully balances the contemporary with the historical, the main aim being to integrate the building harmoniously into its historical surroundings. It now houses the prestigious offices of the Chairman of Bank of Valletta.
